Dr Plutonium's Planatery Suuuuper Sizah!
This is Dr Plutonium's Planetary Suuuuper Sizah! a game made for Ludum Dare 38. The game is a co-op shooter that has players work together as Dr Plutonium's Boxbots helping him defend pluto from any outside harm and gather floating plutonium to grow pluto so it can be a planet again.
Gameplay
Players each control one side of the keyboard to move around the planet and shoot asteroids, aliens and meteors.
As players gather in plutonium they will grow the pluto and it gets harder to move around the planet.
As players gather plutonium the planet grows bigger
As the planet grows larger bigger threats would come and threaten the planet like aliens, asteroids and even giant meteors!
All these threats all threaten to stop the growth of Pluto
To also promote the co-op nature of the game when both players touch each other their shots will also merge and shoot waves instead that deal way more damage than the shots.

Process
For this game jam it was an unplanned team formed on the spot at the KDU's game jam event spot with all the attendees there which makes our 2 designer, 2 artist and 3 programmers team. The game idea was proposed by me during our brainstorm session for the theme, A Small World but the idea was further solidified by my team members.
During the whole process my job was to solidify and plan out the mechanics of the game. I was also constantly testing each build of the game during the 2 day period to balance out the game and also see if there any things hindering the player experience.
